I have developed my Lessons and subsequent page design to incorporate 3 core principles for Online Scaffolding:

  1. Short Videos ⁽ᴬ⁾ with
  2. Mayer’s multimedia principles ⁽ᴮ⁾ taken into account.
    Address the Novice/Pro paradigm of Kalyuga/Sweller by offering both step-by-step instruction and explorable simulators and reference material.
  3. Include an emphasis on Recall ⁽ᶜ⁾ through flash cards, reflection exercises, and low-stakes review quizzes.
